In Korea, we have four distinct seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter. Personally, out of the four, spring is definitely my favorite. I think spring has a lot to offer. It’s warm and breezy, which makes it perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities. But summer in Korea is just unbearable. I mean, it’s extremely hot. Not only that, but there’s also the rainy season in the summer. Fall is okay, though. It’s cool, and I love the fall season because I can see the colorful trees and mountains. As for winter in Korea, it’s crazy. It’s so cold that people can’t breathe well. Since Korea has four distinct seasons, I can truly appreciate the beauty of nature!

한국에는 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울 이렇게 네 개의 뚜렷한 계절이 있어. 나는 그 중에서 봄이 제일 좋아. 봄은 할 게 많아서 좋아. 따뜻하고 바람도 시원해서 야외 활동하기 딱 좋아. 근데 여름은 너무 더워서 진짜 못 견딜 정도야. 게다가 여름엔 장마도 있어. 가을은 괜찮아. 날씨도 시원하고, 가을에는 색깔 있는 나무랑 산을 볼 수 있어서 좋아. 겨울은 진짜 미쳤어. 너무 추워서 숨 쉬기 힘들 정도야. 한국은 이렇게 네 개의 뚜렷한 계절이 있어서 자연의 아름다움을 정말 잘 느낄 수 있어!

The weather in Korea? Korea has four distinct seasons, and each season has its own characteristics. But I think the Korean summer has changed a lot. In the past, all we needed was just a fan, but these days, I can't live without the AC. It’s much hotter than in the past. These days, the summer feels unbearably long and boiling hot. Sometimes, the temperature even goes up to 40 degrees Celsius. I think that’s insane. On top of that, especially in July, we have the rainy season, so it’s super humid and hard to breathe. Because of that, we always keep the AC on 24/7 during the summer. You know what? I really miss the cooler Korean summers.
